The Sorabora Wewa is an ancient reservoir located in Mahiyanganaya in Badulla District of Uva Province, Sri Lanka. The history of this reservoir goes back to the reign of King Dutugemunu (161 BC – 137 BC).  The tank is believed to be built by a giant named “Bulatha”.
